Save Our Sons

We are a proud sponsor of the peak fundraising body for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). This is the most common muscle disease in childhood. One in every 3,500 newborn boys has Duchenne. Very rarely it also affects girls (approximately 1 in 50 million girls). It occurs across all races and cultures. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) is a progressive muscle disease that affects mostly boys and is caused by a genetic mutation on the X chromosome. It leads to muscle weakness and wasting, and can eventually lead to loss of mobility and independence. It is a debilitating and life-limiting condition, and currently, there is no cure.

The Save Our Sons organization is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for DMD research and support for affected families. As a sponsor, we are committed to helping in the fight against this disease and supporting those affected by it. We aim to raise awareness and funds to support research that will lead to treatments and a cure for DMD and help improve the quality of life for those living with the disease.
